3D Systems has unveiled the world's first full-colour 3D printer.
The inspiringly named 'ProJet 4500' is said to be able to produce plastic, full-colour objects including transitions between different colours. Some 3D printers have been able to print multiple colours before, but not mix and blend them in the style familiar to normal paper printers.
