Hey remember this guy?
Despite his butter-wouldn’t-melt appearance, he was said to be responsible for a one-cat crime wave in the Cornish village of Little Treviscoe.
Shiny, or “devil cat”, as he was dubbed by residents, had a reputation for attacking children, cats, dogs, bursting violently into people’s houses and even hospitalising them in some cases.
It's official: Shiny is not psychotic
Such was Shiny’s reign of terror owners Mandie and Adrian Knowles have had FIVE visits from police and were urged to have him put down.
But it seems that Shiny is here to stay, having fooled been given the all-clear by animal psychologist Dr Roger Mugford, who declared him “not psychotic”.
Pain: Just one of the injuries Shiny has inflicted during his reign of terror
Mandie told the Mirror: “He found Shiny to be a nice cat and us to be responsible owners. Shiny didn’t attack him and is not a ferocious cat.
“Dr Mugford even introduced Shiny to his own dog – and nothing happened.”
Well played, Shiny, well played.
