Jesus and Santa were white... as in not black or Asian… and certainly not from the Middle East. At least that’s the line being towed at Fox News, Murdoch’s childish mouthpiece in the US this Christmas.
During a segment on Wednesday in which a panel was responding to a thoughtful piece in Slate Magazine by Aisha Harris in which the author talks of her alienation growing up with a white Santa, the anchor, Megyn Kelly, decided to rewrite history, stating categorically for the viewers that both Santa (fictitious but based on a Greek Saint) and Jesus (possibly fictitious but if not born in Palestine) were both white… as in not black or Asian… and certainly not from the Middle East.
We await their follow up segment in which Gandhi is unmasked as Chinese.
