British Comedy Awards - 9pm, Channel4
It's been a great year for British comedy - with everything from the chat show to scripted sitcom ('The Wright Way' notwithstanding) enjoying the benefit of sharp writing and strong appearances. Jonathan Ross hosts tonight's shindig, and nominees include Alan Carr and Graham Norton, Jo Brand and Miranda Hart, James Corden and Jack Whitehall. Hopefully some controversy that we'll be reading about tomorrow, failing which, lots of laughs surely guaranteed.
Christmas Supermarket Secrets - 9pm, BBC1
A festive behind the scenes treat. We've already heard about the horrors of the Christmas turkey - nutroast, anyone? Greg Wallace oohs and aahs.
The Big Christmas Reunion - 9pm, ITV2
The success of the Big Reunion this year has spawned a tour, a follow-up series, new bands being recruited and, now, a Christmas single in aid of Text Santa.
The bands - tears hopefully long since dried with the therapy sessions of the comeback gig rehearsals behind them - are back in the studio for just two days. Surely time enough for Lee Ryan to put his foot in it, Kerry Katona to blow her top and the Honeyz to form another lineup.
