Beyonce's gamble of releasing an album without any promotion has certainly paid off.
Her 'surprise' fifth album, which features collaborations with Frank Ocean, Drake and hubby Jay-Z, has smashed iTunes sales records, with 828,773 copies sold in just three days.
Fans are currently unable to purchase the 14 tracks and 17 videos individually on iTunes, meaning they have to buy the whole album.
The majority of sales came in the US, where it has racked up 617,213 sales since its release on Friday. In the UK, the album cracked the top five in just 48 hours, after shifting 68,000 copies.
