Our heart swelled with pride as we watched Adele awarded her MBE by the Prince of Wales today.
The songbird - who already boasts a trophy cabinet full of Oscars, Grammys and Brits - received the honour at an investiture service at Buckingham Palace.

Adele picked up her MBE from Prince Charles
The 25-year-old beamed as Prince Charles pinned the award to her black and green dress, after being named in the Queen's Birthday Honours list for her services to the music industry.
The occasion marked a rare public appearance for the Adele, who has kept a low profile since giving birth to her son Angelo last October.
She is rumoured to be returning to the studio in 2014 to record the follow up to her multi-platinum album, '21'.
