'Simplicam' Uses Facial Recognition To Guard Your House (And Tell You Who's Inside)
ArcSoft

ArcSoft have launched Simplicam - a WiFi camera with built-in facial recognition software.

Regular camera systems require logging in and manually checking all the cameras in your house.

It's watching you. And you.

Simplicam does away with this by monitoring your home, recognising when someone is there, determining if they're supposed to be there and notifying you via your phone or browser.

Additionally, users can also sign up to the company's cloud service and record, share and save clips.

Interested? The system is available from next month and will cost around £90.
