Here’s a ‘fun fact’: Michael J. Fox has Parkinson’s disease.
At least it’s a ‘fun fact’ according to the American E! Entertainment Network, which flashed up a graphic to highlight the Back To The Future star’s debilitating disease during live stream coverage of the Golden Globes on Sunday.
On Monday the network said it regretted the remark, adding in a statement that: "We understand the serious nature of the disease and sincerely apologise”.
