McDonalds Battles With Group Of Elderly 'Seat-Hogging' Pensioners (VIDEO)

WATCH: McDonalds Battles With Group Of Elderly 'Seat-Hogging' Pensioners

McDonald's are at war with a group of elderly patrons who are apparently hogging seats at a New York branch.

Staff are becoming increasingly frustrated with the Korean pensioners, with many of them arriving as early as 5 am at the restaurant and often staying until after dark.

They pass the hours gossiping at the window-seat tables amid piles of newspapers but buying very little - with a few admitting they don't even like the food.

Four calls have been made to the local police since November to remove the group, which has been coming to the restaurant for more than five years.

But as soon as the police leave, some of the elderly group return.
