Eye-witnesses have described a "trail of blood" through the upmarket streets of west London's Notting Hill, after a teenager was stabbed.

The teen, described by police as a black male aged around 18 or 19, was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, GetWestLondon reported.

No arrests have been made so far.

Two stabbings have taken place in the area earlier this year, believed to be linked to gangs, though there is no indication as yet this particular incident was gang-related.

London Ambulance Service have said the man was conscious and breathing as he was taken to hospital, after they were called to the scene at 2:15pm
