Simon Cowell has spoken about the lengths he went to trying to win back Cheryl Cole to 'The X Factor', including offering the singer her own record label.
Both Simon and Cheryl quit the UK show back in 2010 to judge on the American series, though Simon ended up firing Cheryl and replacing her with Nicole Scherzinger early on in the show's run, leading to a very public fall out.

However the two have obviously now buried the hatchet as it was announced earlier this week that after a three year break, Cheryl and Simon would both be making a return for the eleventh series of 'The X Factor'.
Speaking to Metro about his attempts to coax Cheryl back, Simon said: "I always said to her, do you want a label at Sony or whatever? I would do it in a heartbeat because she is a really, really good judge of talent."
During her time on 'The X Factor' Cheryl mentored acts like Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson and two of the show's winning contestants Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry (though, honestly, the less said about Katie Waissel the better...).
It is yet to be announced who will be joining the pair on the judging panel, though Louis Walsh has said he is confident he'll be returning, despite reports claiming Cheryl doesn't want him to come back as a judge.
