Carol Vorderman Could Face 'Loose Women' Chop With Coleen Nolan And Myleene Klass To Boost Show's Ratings

Carol Vorderman Could Face The 'Loose Women' Chop In Bid To Save Show

Carol Vorderman is among the presenters who could be facing the chop from lunchtime show 'Loose Women' in a bid to boost ratings.

The show has appointed a new boss Martin Frizzell after viewing figures for the show have plummeted, and reports claim he is not happy with a number of the women on the current line-up.

"Martin knows there are lots of good female television presenters out there and there is talent he wants to bring in. He has some big ideas of who he wants and of course there will be many current Loose Women staff who don’t fit the bill."

And while Carol is just one of the names who could reportedly face the axe, she isn't alone as Coleen Nolan, 'Benidorm' actress Sherrie Hewson and newest recruit Myleene Klass could find their days at the show are numbered in an attempt to shake things up.

However it isn't bad news for everyone as Kaye Adams and Jane Moore - who were a part of the show when it first launched - are thought to be safe.

Carol has been an anchor on 'Loose Women' since she joined the show in 2011. Before that she was best known for her work on 'Countdown', which she presented for 26 years before quitting in 2008.
