G+ April Fools' Day 'Auto Awesome Photobombs with David Hasselhoff' Wins The Day

G+ Introduce 'Auto Awesome Photobombs with David Hasselhoff'

And the award for our favourite April Fools' Day gag goes to...

G+ pulled an absolute blinder with this, posting on their blog they were going to be introducing 'Auto Awesome Photobombs with David Hasselhoff'.

They wrote:

Google+ Auto Awesome is all about fun surprises that bring your photos to life. And whether it’s Benedict Cumberbatch at the Oscars or Michelle Obama at the White House, a celebrity photobomb is the ultimate surprise, turning an ordinary photo into something extraordinary.

Now with Auto Awesome Photobombs, you too can get a celebrity photobomb—no red carpet required. We’re starting with surprise appearances by +David Hasselhoff, everyone’s favorite crime-fighting rockstar lifeguard.

Thin is, if they introduced it for real it would probably be incredibly popular.

Some of the comments underneath read...

This is almost cooler than the original auto-awesome...in fact, while it may sound like hyperbole, it's even more groundbreaking than the original gmail announcement, I think.

Ok. That's one autoawesome (sorry: #hoffsome ) feature I really would like to have ;)

Let the Fools' begin. Not sure I want to upload any photos to Google+ today. :)
