There's A Monty Python 'Ministry Of Silly Walks' Crossing Sign In Norway

No, really. It's in Ørje, and people actually use it - not just to cross the road, but to cross the road in a silly fashion.

"It's just for fun. There's no deep thought behind it," says Reidar Johannes Søby of Kreativiteket, the Swedish art group that installed the sign (which is sadly illegal, and thus probably won't last long). "People live in their ordinary lives and when they see this sign, maybe they can have a little smile on their face. That's all."

Well, we hope that's not all. We hope they'll set up a pet shop in Norway that sells dead Norwegian Blues...
