The categories at the MTV Movie Awards are truly fantastic - where else would see a gong for the Best Fight? Or #WTF Moment?
It’s also a great chance for the movies we actually loved to get the recognition they deserve. While the Academy turned their noses up and snubbed ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, MTV not only nominated the hit film, but crowned it winner of the Movie Of the Year prize.

Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson each took home a prize for their starring roles in the movie too, but they didn’t manage to beat Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly in the Best Fight category.
The Best Shirtless Moment prize went to Zac Efron while the Best On-Screen Kiss accolade is being shared by three actors - Emma Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Will Poulter - and Mila Kunis picked up the Best Villain gong.
