Miley Cyrus celebrated her mum Tish’s birthday on Tuesday night, throwing a party totally in keeping with what you'd expect from a knees-up with Miley, including animal masks and an array of colourful wigs.
The star first gave us a taste of her wild partying ways in the video for her single ‘We Can’t Stop’, which raised more than a few eyebrows when it debuted, and it looks like Miley is keeping that tradition going now… even if the birthday girl she’s celebrating with is her mum.

Unfortunately we couldn’t attend the birthday bash ourselves (ahem) but Miley did give us a taste of the fun in a string of Instagram snaps from the party.
In one shot, the twerking singer poses in a bright pink wig, while her mum - or at least we think it’s her mum - is next to her wearing a sheep’s mask.

Meanwhile in another - which Miley captioned, “my mom is hotter than your mom” - Miley and Tish hold cocktails up to the camera while sporting colourful facepaint.

The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer is currently in the UK as part of her ‘Bangerz’ world tour, but it’s good to see she’s still managing to squeeze in some time to enjoy herself while she’s away from the stage.
It’s also a comfort to know she’s bounced back following her hospitalisation last month, which led her to cancel dates in America and Europe after she suffered a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.
