Kieran Hayler has blamed his cheating on wife Katie Price on a “compulsive addiction”, for which he is now reportedly seeking help in a £2,500-a-day rehab.
It emerged earlier this month that Kieran had been cheating on the former glamour model with her close friend of almost 20 years, Jane Pountney, just days after Katie confirmed she was six months pregnant with his child.

However, the builder and part-time stripper is hoping he can win Katie back, and is seeking treatment for a compulsive disorder, which he hopes will make the couple “stronger than ever”, despite Katie originally tweeting that she hoped to divorce him.
He told The Sun: “Having therapy has helped me to realise I’ve got something called compulsive addiction.
“I lie compulsively to get an adrenaline buzz. I never knew about anything like this but throughout my life I’ve never been faithful because I’ve never had a relationship.”
Kieran also claimed that he’d grown tired of sex before meeting Katie, adding: “I’ve had lots of sexual partners - over 100. But sex got boring for me. I was a stripper, so it was on tap. I went off sex, but Kate reignited the passion in me.”
As part of his treatment, Kieran was asked to write a letter to Jane, which The Sun managed to get a look at, where he branded their affair a “dirty, sleazy s**g".

In the letter he blames his disorder for his infidelity, writing: “I told you everything you wanted to hear so I could sleep with you.
“And that’s all it was, a dirty, sleazy s**g to feed an addiction that I am ashamed and embarrassed to say I have. But I am going to get help because I love Kate with all my heart and I do not want to lose her and I want us to be stronger than ever once all this passes.
“I was never ever going to leave Kate for you. I am so glad we got caught because now I can get help and I can start a new fresh life with Kate with good people in our life and positive future.”
Unfortunately for Kieran, it doesn’t sound like Katie is in the mood to forgive anyone at the moment, as over the weekend she hit out at both Kieran and Jane on her Twitter page, after he gave a newspaper interview detailing the affair.
She branded Jane a “whore” in the expletive-laden tweets, while describing both of them as “lying, cheating c**ts”.
