Halo 5: Guardians And More Unveiled By Microsoft At E3 2014

Halo 5 Leads Massive Games Lineup For Xbox One

Halo 5 and the iconic gaming character Master Chief was clearly the focus for Microsoft at its Xbox One E3 2014 briefing with trailers for Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection both making their debut.

Launching on 11 November 2014, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will let gamers play Halo 1-4 on Xbox One with Halo 2 getting a complete HD remake offering Full-HD visuals and completely updated textures.

Microsoft has also confirmed that the Master Chief Collection will also come with a live-action Halo film being developed by Alien director Ridley Scott.

Other big announcements at Xbox's E3 Conference includes the world premiere of Rise Of The Tomb Raider, the sequel to the hugely successful Tomb Raider reboot which see's a young Lara Croft become the iconic character gamers know and love.

Assassin's Creed: Unity was also given its first gameplay demo showcasing four player co-op allowing gamers to play through the single-player campaign with friends on Xbox Live.

Microsoft has clearly learnt from last year's showing with games and exclusives being the focus, most notably the confirmation that content on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and The Division will be exclusively launching on Xbox One first.
