'Magaluf Girl' Mamading Video: British Tourists Are 'Educationally Inadequate' Blasts Furious Spanish Minister

A section of British tourists are “educationally inadequate”, claims a Balearics government spokesman in the wake of the now infamous “mamading” incident.

Nuria Riera was referring to the footage of an 18-year-old from Northern Ireland performing fellatio on 24 men as they stand around her on the dance floor of a bar in the Spanish resort of Magaluf, Majorca.

“This sort of behaviour cannot be tolerated. It gives the Balearic Islands and women a terrible image.

Nuria Riera has branded some British tourists 'educationally inadequate' in the wake of the incident

“We regard it as outrageous and we have to stop it whichever way we can,” Nuria said in comments reported by the Belfast Telegraph.

Referring to British tourists, she claimed the issue lay with the fact some are “educationally inadequate”, though she conceded Spain would have to address its own populace too: “There are people who come with certain types of behaviour or educational patterns that needed to be fought against in the source country as well.”

Holidaying Brits in the area already have a somewhat patchy reputation in the area.

Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffat has been working in the resort of Magaluf for two months and claims to have seen a number of Brits abroad involved in raunchy activities.

Writing in the Daily Star, she said: “To the tourists downing alcohol like water and spreading their legs more often than you lose coppers, it’s not that big of a deal.

“People come on holiday to escape real life and that normally means waking up on Maga beach searching for their dignity.

“If you think sucking off 24 men in one go is bad, you won’t believe the things I’ve seen.”

Calvia Mayor Manuel Onieva told Mallorca Diario he “absolutely rejects” the disturbing incident, and said police were now investigating “in order to eradicate similar situations in our leisure zones.”

Balearic Minister of Tourism Jamie Martinez will host the summit next Thursday, which will focus on Magaluf, Platja de Palma (Mallorca) and Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza).

Additionally, a campaign intended to clean up Magaluf’s image is set to launch within weeks.
