'TOWIE' Star Frankie Essex Attacked By Gang Of Girls In Nightclub Toilet

'They Were Literally Pulling Out Clumps Of My Hair'

'TOWIE' star Frankie Essex has revealed she was viciously attacked by a group of girls just for being on the hit ITV2 show.

The 26-year-old was set upon by the group at the 195 club in Epping, Essex on Saturday evening.

"I was scared they might pull out a knife or a smashed bottle. I made eye contact with one of the girls and I was pleading with her. ‘Please, please make your friends stop’ — but she just laughed.”

Since the attack, Frankie - sister of fellow 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Joey Essex - has been left with a black eye and bruises to her head and arm.

“This is all about a TV show. It’s just not right.”

Frankie, who left the reality drama series earlier this year, isn't the first 'TOWIE' star to be targeted.

Her brother, Joey, was mugged at knifepoint in London in 2012 and his £10,000 Rolex watch stolen.

Billie and Sam Faiers were also set upon by a large group of girls as they left a London club in 2011.

Soon afterwards Harry Derbridge’s former boyfriend, Kurt Evans, was beaten up in Croydon, South London.
