Vera Wang Spring/Summer Collection 2014: This Video Is Serious Bridal Inspiration

Vera Wang Spring/Summer Collection 2014: This Video Is Serious Bridal Inspiration

If you're getting married, part of the true excitement of planning your big day is researching all things wedding dress.

And, even if you don't have the budget (us neither, by the way) you've got to peruse the latest from bride-to-be dream-maker Vera Wang.

The designer has released a video showcasing her creations for Spring/Summer 2014 and there's some serious bridal inspiration in this 90 second showreel.

As expected from Wang, there's a whole lot of tulle being wafted around a whole lot of completely gorgeous models.

Gone are the coloured and black dresses of seasons past and in their place more traditional white gowns are the flavour of the season again.

However, there is a touch of avant garde - a sense that Wang is creating with brides who aren't necessarily looking for princess dresses in mind.

For start, there's an actual crop top, not to mention long sleeved dresses as well as the quintessential Wang bandeau.

Hair is long, loose and natural and there's a more ethereal vibe than previous collections for the New York-based designer.

These dresses are less for high society, traditional weddings and more for quirkier, countryside affairs. There's not even that much corsetry.
