Bed Bug Treatment: How To Deal With An Infestation

How To Deal With A Bed Bug Infestation

It is often said that we spend a third of our lives asleep, so ideally, we'd like to do this without the companionship of bed bugs.

Unfortunately, summer months are notorious for insects, and with bed bugs on the rise, it's time to get under those sheets and start inspecting.

Looking a little like a lentil, bed bugs are visible to the naked eye. If you think you've got an infestation, try switching colourful sheets for white and then follow these tips from the NHS:

"Look for any unexplained skin rashes or itchy bumps. Check your sheets for blood spots where you may have rolled over and squashed a bug after it had fed.

Inspect all the crevices and joints of your mattress and furniture using a torch, and see if you can spot any bulges."

So, good night, sleep tight and mind the bed bugs don't bite.
