Anna Wintour's son Charlie Shaffer is getting married this month and as sad as it sounds, we highly doubt all eyes will be on the bride.
The American Vogueeditor is thought to be hosting part of the big day at her Long Island home, although all other details around the nuptials have remained super secret.
Charlie, 28, who is training to be a doctor at Columbia University in New York, is set to marry his long-term girlfriend, Elizabeth Cordry any day now and - we've got to say - his beloved must have nerves of steel to take on Anna as a mother-in-law.
Wintour recently talked about how she feels about strangers - who she'll probably have to hang out with at her son's nuptials - saying: "The worst are those people whom you've never met in your life that want to hug you in a major embrace."
Ugh! Hugging! Gross.
We usually go all giddy at the knees over the bride's gown, but we're pretty damn sure the press (us included - soz) will be far more interested in what the trend-setting fashion mogul will wear on the happy couple's big day.
Would Elizabeth totally flip her lip if Anna showed up dressed head-to-toe in white? Would punches be thrown? Would shit get real? Would Liz get drunk and chuck a glass of red wine all over Anna? Probably not. Wintour weddings are very civil affairs (we assume).
