Cressida Bonas To 'Co-Host' Formal Dinner At St James' Palace (It's Really Hotting Up With Prince Harry Then)

They've been dating for two years and now, it seems, Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas are happy to make their relationship official - as he invites her to attend a formal dinner at St James' Palace to honour war heroes.

Harry is the patron of the Walking With The Wounded charity, and met many of the upcoming dinner guests during his 208-mile trek to the South Pole before Christmas.

A source told The Mail on Sunday: "Harry has told Cressida she is welcome to come along."

"Harry and his mates went through thick and thin together, so the dinner party will be a really relaxed and jovial affair. But there is no doubt that it will be a Royal banquet, albeit a private one."

Although she won't actually officially be welcoming guests as the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton might do, the fact she is there as Harry's date see her automatically become 'co-host'.

Another source told the paper: "Because she is Harry's girlfriend, Cressida's very presence at a dinner hosted by him would position her into the role of co-host."

St James' Palace is often the venue for official functions, although as the dinner, to be held on 27 March, is a private one, it's not actually classed as "official".

The day before that, they were also seen cuddling up together at the WE Day UK event at Wembley.

Recent reports have also suggested that the pair will be holidaying together at the royal residence of Balmoral this summer.

Looks like that 'princess training' could well come in handy after all...
