Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1: The First Trailer

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1: The First Trailer

The first teaser trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is finally here, and let's just say it looks flipping awesome.

The teaser is guaranteed to give you goosebumps all over. It sees just a brief glimpse at Jennifer Lawrence as our favourite movie heroine who knows how to rock a cure braid Katniss Everdeen, as well as the drop-dead gorgeous Liam Hemsworth as Gale, Natalie Dormer as Cressida and Julianne Moore as the film's most notable newcomer President Coin - and, of course, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch.

Feel free to watch the trailer below because there are absolutely no spoilers. Seriously nothing is given away... It's actually kind of annoying.

Watch the trailer here:

At the time of writing the video had already racked up 408,159 views on YouTube but considering the popularity of the should-be children's film we expect that number to sky rocket pretty quickly.

The trailer drops as J-Law recently revealed exactly how she prepares for her role as Katniss at the gym.

Sadly, it sounds pretty intense. But feel free to try it for yourself..

1. High-intensity cardio. Yes, it's as painful as it sounds but it gets results. Warm up for 5 to 10 minutes and then aim for 20 minutes of high intensity cardio such as running up hills, a stationary bike ride with high resistance or skipping

2. Strength training. Training with weights, doing squats, pushups etc is a fantastic way to build muscle and get your heart going. Like swimming, weight-training means you continue to burn calories even at rest.

3. Yoga. It's important not to over-do the high intensity workouts and give your body enough time to recover. Once or twice a week do a very low intensity workout such as yoga to stretch out your muscles and improve your flexibility. Try one of Jen's favourite yoga poses, which include reverse warriors, sun salutes and planks.
