It's surprising how small changes to your style can make such a big difference to the way you look. Take singer - and MyDaily favourite - Gwen Stefani, for example.
We're not used to seeing the No Doubt frontwoman with her hair long and sleek, so we had to do a double-take to make sure it was really her in this photo taken in London yesterday.
It was the second time this week that we'd spotted her out and about with her family in the UK (clan Rossdale-Stefani visited a safari park in Bedfordshire a couple of days ago).
Yesterday, however, Gwen swapped her boyfriend jeans for patterned pants and her navy blue jacket for a sheer black top. And, while she might be sporting a new do, we're glad to see that she hasn't given up on her signature red lip.
