After multiple appearances at the London Olympics and a few Wimbledon finals under her belt, the Duchess of Cambridge has made herself known as a brilliant spectator at any sporting event.
Why? It's all down to her facial expressions.
On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were joined by Prince Harry at the hockey and gymnastics at the Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow.
Yes, Kate looked lovely in her staple sports-watching outfit (a Zara jacket paired with J Brand skinny jeans and navy cork wedges by Stuart Weitzman) but it was this display of emotion that got the duchess noticed as she cheered on the competitors from the stand.
The Scotland vs Wales hockey match? Clearly, it was gripping.
In fact, at one point, Kate could barely watch...
However, it wasn't always intense viewing. The royals were greeted by a cheer from the crowd as they arrived at the Hydro Stadium to watch the gymnastics, but we wonder if they got swept up in the singing? The Mirror reports other supporters starting blaring out the Proclaimers' hit, 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)' in-between the performances.
By the looks of things, William and Kate refrained from joining in. They were too busy finding fun ways to play with a lanyard anyway...
