A woman has reportedly named her new baby after one of the flight attendants who came to her aid when she went into labour during a flight!
Armina Babayan, 31, was flying to Armenia from Siberia on Saturday, and gave birth to a baby daughter mid-air, two hours before the flight landed in the capital city of Yerevan.
The Guardian reports that flight attendant Asmik Gevondyan noticed that Ms Babayan 'appeared to be in labour' and organised the delivery.

"All of our crew helped to deliver the baby," Ms Gevondyan told the Associated Press.
It is claimed that Ms Babayan had told check-in officials she was only six-and-a-half months pregnant before boarding the plane.
Baby Asmik was said to be healthy and doing well after her unconventional arrival.
