Tuesday's Autumn/Winter 2014 show was big moment for the Marc by Marc Jacobs brand. British designers Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley presented their first collection since joining as creative director and womenswear design director last year.
So - was their a new lease of life in the Marc Jacobs diffusion line? Yes, there was.
The styles were still young and kooky, but the check prints, monochrome stripes and chunky leather belts looked fresh, bright and peppy.
In a recent interview with The Independent, Bartley described the collection as "Looking Hard In The Yard." One look at the bandanas, sturdy lace-up boots and tartan satchels and you'll know exactly what she's referring to.
