Ben Fogle has thanked fans for their support and well wishes following the loss of his third baby with his wife Marina.
Marina and Ben lost their third baby 32 weeks into Marina's pregnancy last week. At the time, a spokesperson confirmed the news with a short message which read:
"Tragically Marina and Ben Fogle have lost their precious baby at 32 weeks gestation. Marina is still in hospital.
"They are obviously devastated and would appreciate their privacy at this terrible time. They thank you for your understanding."
Ben has now tweeted his thanks for the support and love he and his family have received from fans.
In a short message posted to the site, he said:
Ben and Marina are parents to son Ludo, four, and daughter Iona, two.
Speaking to Parentdish before the sad news, Marina said her children were incredibly excited to have a brother or sister – but this would be their last baby.
"We didn't want to share the news with them until the 12 week scan, but when we did it was so special," she said.
"Ludo naturally gravitates towards babies – human and animal - so he is beside himself at the thought of a baby.
"This is definitely the last one for us."
