When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt said their vows in a secret ceremony in a château in the South of France on August 23, we were all curious to know what Angelina chose for the occasion (did she go glam? Or goth?)
When it comes to Angelina's style, anything's possible.
Now, we know. Drumroll, please!
Angelina and Brad's wedding album has been revealed in the latest edition of People magazine (hitting newsstands this Wednesday; it will also appear in Hello!), with plenty of details about the big day at Château Miraval, including the first look at Angelina's dress, an Atelier Versace creation.
The white silk-satin gown, designed by longtime pal Donatella Versace, is a one-of-a-kind creation, featuring a gathered bust and elongated train.
The most unique thing about it? The gorgeous gown is detailed with embroidered drawings of her children's artwork (the silk veil features her children's artwork reproductions as well!), sewed on by Versace master tailor Luigi Massi.
"Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," Jolie tells People. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."
Jolie teamed the gown with a pair of Versace silk satin pumps.
According to People, each of Jolie-Pitt's six children played an important role on the day, helping write their parents' vows and taking part in the intimate ceremony, which included only 20 of Brad and Angelina's closest friends and family members.
Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, in black suits, walked Jolie down the aisle (Pax also baked the cake!) while daughters Zahara, 9, (wearing a dress designed by a friend of the family's, Adama Kebe) and Vivienne, 6, in a white dress from her wardrobe, were flower girls, tossing petals from the garden.
The couple's daughter, Shiloh, 8 - in a black suit with shorts and a top hat - and son, Knox, 6, (in a black suit) were ring bearers.
Brad, who was spotted flashing his Robert Procop wedding ring on the set of a new advert he's been filming in NYC this week, picked a suit from his wardrobe for the occasion (borrowing a tie from one of his sons because he forgot to pack one!)
"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," the couple told People. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."
