Despite being the main talking point in technology, smart watches are already being replaced -- at least in the eyes of this company -- by smart rings.
MOTA has unveiled its SmartRing, a tiny smart wearable device that goes on the finger and can alert you by vibrating or through a tiny screen.

It'll reportedly work with iOS and Android devices and can show notifications from Facebook, Twitter as well as notifications from the smartphone itself.
Now while the company has officially unveiled the SmartRing we only have high-resolution renders to go on so don't go ditching your Moto 360 pre-order plans just yet.

Judging by reviews for its smart watch the company may have an uphill battle on its hands but it's an interesting concept nevertheless.
