'Strictly Come Dancing' Contestant Gregg Wallace 'Will Be An Embarrassment,' According To Ex-Wife

Gregg Will Be 'Strictly An Embarassment'

Usually, the cat-calls start coming once the 'Strictly Come Dancing' competition is under way, but it seems, this year, somebody's getting in early.

Gregg Wallace is one of this year's celebrity contestants on the dancefloor, something that isn't impressing his ex-wife much from the sound of things.

Greg Wallace is lacking one viewer's support, evidently

Gregg's ex-wife Denise asks the Mirror, "Does he really want to make any more of a fool of himself than he already has?"

She adds that, during their marriage, Greg claimed not to be able to stand the kind of reality show he's now appearing in.

She says she would watch them on TV, while Greg "would just walk out the room, shouting: 'Why are you watching this s**t’?'"

And she helpfully predicts that a dancer - any of them, apparently - could prove too much temptation for his roving eye. "God help his girlfriend. He'll lap up the attention. He's so vain, so vain."

Guess that's one public vote Gregg won't be getting then. Oh, and she throws in that she wishes she'd never married him. Of course.

Gregg will be up against an impressive group of talent in this year's show, including Andy Murray's mother Judy, reality star Mark Wright, singer Frankie Bridge and presenter Caroline Flack.

Other people already worrying about their stint on the upcoming series include DJ Scott Mills, who says he's concerned the Strictly curse may have already struck him.
