Inside Sarah Jessica Parker's New York Townhouse

Just like Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker is a New York girl through and through - but SJP's real-life home is a little larger than her famous character's one-bedroom apartment.

The actress is selling the Greenwich Village townhouse she owns with husband Matthew Broderick and although Parker doesn't actually live in this five-floor property, it gives Sex and the City fans a chance to see her design and decor tastes.

The one thing that can't be ignored? The price.

The 19th century brownstone property is listed on Douglas Elliman Real Estate's website for the not-so-small sum of $22,000,000 (that's almost £14 million.)

So, what does this money buy? The "quintessential" Manhattan location is the first big selling point. Next on the list? Its spacious size.

There are five bedrooms inside this 6,800sq home, plus four en-suites fitted with marble baths, seven fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows on the "parlour floor", skylight windows on the "master floor", an office, a built-in entertainment system and balconies from the living room overlooking the split-level garden.

The property also comes with a full-time doorman (handy) and a concierge.

The best part? The wardrobe, obviously. Yes, it's walk-in - it even has its own windows - and it's probably larger than most New Yorkers' bedrooms. Sounds like Carrie's dream.
