Kindle Voyage Leaked as Amazon's Thinnest Ebook Yet

Amazon Could Be About To Replace The Kindle

Amazon appears to have accidentally leaked the existence of a brand-new eReader that could replace the Kindle Paperwhite.

Called the Kindle Voyage it'll reportedly feature a new technology for turning pages and be significantly thinner and lighter than its predecessor.

The new eReader was leaked via Amazon Germany and features a new touch-sensitive bezel which will let you turn the page along with 'intelligent front lighting'.

Amazon's leaked page listed the new Kindle as having a November 4 release date which would put it right in line for Christmas.

It'll reportedly be just 8mm thin and weigh 186g making it thinner and lighter than the current Kindle Paperwhite, although there's no word on whether Amazon would use the Voyage as a replacement.

Amazon quickly removed the offending pages but one intrepid user was able to download a manual for the new Kindle and secure a leaked image of the product.
