Bristol comedian Jayde Adams has been crowned the winner of this year's coveted Funny Women Award.
Wearing a nude bodysuit and finishing her set with a glorious rendition of 'Nessum Dorma' (in both tenor and soprano ranges), 29-year-old Adams - who has been performing comedy for what she calls "two terrifying years" - fought off stiff competition from nine other finalists to win the stage award.
At the final at London's Leicester Square Theatre - hosted by the hilarious, acerbic Katherine Ryan - Irish stand-up Aine Gallagher was named runner-up, while third place went to Newcastle comic Lauren Pattison.
This year's Comedy Writing Award was won by Sophie Fletcher and Megan Heffernan for their sitcom script 'In These Shoes?', with 'Chorus' by Natalie Willbe and 'Single Young Professionals' by Joanne Lau also making the final three.
Sally Cancello, meanwhile, won Funny Women's first ever Comedy Shorts Award for 'Time Again'. The two other videos to make the final shortlist were 'Ashes To Ashes' by Aurora Fearnley and Carolyn Goodyear, and 'Paula Bear' by Letty Butler and Lucy Pearman.
