Men With Bigger Bellies Make Better Lovers, Study Says

Men, A Brilliant Reason To Love Your Non-Existent Abs

Ladies, you may think you want a man with chiseled abs à la Ryan Gosling, but it turns out a romance with a larger gentleman could do wonders for your sex life.

New research has shown that men with larger bellies make better lovers due to having enhanced stamina in the bedroom.

Scientists at Erciyes University in Kayseri, Turkey, surveyed 200 men and compared their body mass index (BMI) and their sexual performance.

Their study found that overweight men with obvious bellies and a higher BMI lasted 7.3 minutes minutes on average in bed.

Men in the slimmer group lasted two minutes on average, with a significant number suffering from premature ejaculation.

The study reads: "As the BMI increased, the number of patients decreased in the premature ejaculation group."

So, why does a larger belly mean a man is able to have sex for longer?

The experts suggested that more fat around the stomach area can mean a man has more estradiol. Estradiol is a female sex hormone which help to inhibit orgasms for males.

So eat up fellas - but not too much, because in all seriousness, while being overweight might make you last longer in bed, it can also have a negative impact on your long-term health.
