Young Fathers have been named the winners of the 2014 Barclaycard Mercury Prize for Album Of The Year.
The Edinburgh-based trio won the prize for their release ‘Dead’, beating competition from acts including Damon Albarn, FKA Twigs and chart-toppers Royal Blood.

The band decided to keep their speech brief, with band member Alloysious Massaquoi simply stating: “Thank you, we love you, we love you all."
After accepting the prize, he told the BBC: “We go out and do what we do."
"We'll take it in our stride," added Graham 'G' Hastings. "We always wanted to make something bigger than the city we were living in."
Ahead of the London ceremony, FKA Twigs was tipped as the favourite to scoop the prize for her album ‘LP2’, while poet Kate Tempest was also hotly-tipped.
Previous winners of the Mercury Prize include Pulp, Alt-J and James Blake.
The Mercury Prize Awards Show will be screened on Channel 4 at 11.40pm on Friday 31 October.
