Sometimes, it can be said, the technology world takes itself a little too seriously. Thankfully Hombre_McSteez is on hand with his iPhone 5s and some traditional animation cells to give a new take on the phrase 'augmented reality'.
Entitled 'Aug(de)meneted Reality', the short video shows his own devilish cartoons augmented into real life using the plastic animation cells.

The video is extremely cute and shows that even with a sheet of plastic and a smartphone you can still turn what would be a boring walk through town into an amusing satire of what has -- until now -- been almost entirely dominated by people getting thrown out of bars for wearing 'smart glasses'.
If only all technology was this fun (and silly).
