By Katie Bryson
This easy recipe is a proper one-pot wonder that's ideal to put on the table on bonfire night for your hungry mob.
It's just a matter of tossing the sausages and vegetables in a lovely honey and mustard glaze, then roast in the oven and your work is done. Once it's ready put it in the middle of your table with some crusty white bread and let everyone get stuck in.
Serves: 41 tbsp grain mustard
2 tbsp runny honey
8 pork sausages
350g butternut squash, peeled, deseeded and chopped into small chunks
400g baby new potatoes
1 red pepper, roughly chopped into chunks
handful fresh sage leaves, roughly chopped
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Put the mustard and honey in a large bowl and then add the sausages and toss until well coated.
2. Put the remaining ingredients into a separate bowl with a good pinch of flaked sea salt and ground black pepper and toss to combine.
3. Tip the sausages and the vegetables into a large roasting tin or shallow ovenproof dish and roast for around 45-50 minutes, or until the sausages are golden and the vegetables cooked through.
4. Scatter with chopped sage and serve straight from the dish with a crusty white baguette.
