Anne earned her Academy Award for her emaciated role of Fantine in ‘Les Miserables’. She tells HuffPostUK,

“[The Oscar] has changed one thing. I’m going to take a little break for a minute from acting and I don’t think, if I didn’t have it, I would feel confident to do that.

“But I feel like it’s there, it’s on the mantel, I’ve earned the right to take a few months off.”

In the meantime, Anne co-stars with Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine in Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi epic ‘Interstellar’ out this week, and says she feels lucky to be in – yes, she really said this – the greatest film she’s ever seen.

“When I was making the film, I was thinking a lot about my character, not so much the film. I loved her journey.

“But when I watched the film, I felt very humble, very small, and I couldn’t believe I was part of a film that extraordinary. I knew when we were making it it was pretty special, but not that amazing.

“I can’t believe how lucky I am, because it’s the greatest movie I’ve ever seen, it’s the greatest cinematic experience I’ve ever had, just going to the movies, being swung up in it, and I’m actually in it.”

'Interstellar' is in UK cinemas from this Friday 7 November. Watch the trailer below...
