AC/DC’s Phil Rudd has been charged with attempting to procure the murders of two people in New Zealand.
The drummer appeared in court on Wednesday afternoon, after his home in Tauranga, a city on the country’s North Island, was raided by police.

He has also been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cannabis and threatening to kill.
Court documents state that Rudd is accused of attempting to hire one person to kill two others between 25 and 26 September.
He is also accused of “threatening to kill a complainant” on the 26 September, adds The Guardian.
Rudd was in the dock during his brief court appearance, and he entered no plea, before being bailed until 27 November.
The New Zealand Herald states that he left court in a silver Mercedes and refused to speak to the media.
AC/DC are currently gearing up to release their first studio album since 2008, though Malcolm Young, who was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year, has not been involved in the project.
The band are also planning to head off on tour in 2015.
