Phil Rudd, the drummer with Australian rock group, AC/DC has had a charge of attempting to arrange two murders dropped.
Just a day after appearing in court in New Zealand, the musician's lawyer confirmed the charges had been dropped because of a lack of evidence.

However, the star will still face two other charges of possessing drugs and making threats to kill.
The drummer appeared in court on Wednesday afternoon, after his waterfront home in Tauranga, a city on the country’s North Island, was raided by police.
Court documents state that Rudd was accused of attempting to hire one person to kill two others between 25 and 26 September. He was also accused of “threatening to kill a complainant”.

But on Friday, prosecuting lawyer Greg Hollister-Jones said his office had reviewed the case and found there was "insufficient evidence to proceed with the charge of attempting to procure murder".
Mr Rudd's lawyer, Paul Mabey, said told the BBC: "The charge alleging an attempt to procure murder should never have been laid".
He added that Mr Rudd had suffered 'incalculable' damage from the publicity surrounding the allegation and would consider 'any possible remedies he may have'.
AC/DC - one of the highest grossing of all time - had earlier issued a statement saying its planned tour would not be affected by news of the charges.
The 60-year-old musician is next due in court on 27 November.
