Claridge's boasts a spectacular tree every year (remember Lanvin's 2011 masterpiece?) and this time, the honour of designing it was awarded to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
Inspired by childhood memories, the 8 metre-high tree has been adorned with animals, ribbons and festive trinkets to bring a touch of fantasy to the Mayfair hotel's famous lobby.
As you might expect from a tree decorated by this designer duo, the look is luxe.
The 300 glass baubles were blown by master artisans from Bellagio on Lake Como and the oversized ribbons (representing countries from all over the world) were handmade by Dolce & Gabbana's tailors in Milan.
The tree also features a royal throne with a crown and a hand-made coat owned by a Norman King. Of course it does.
Speaking about the hotel's collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana, Thomas Kochs, Claridge's General Manager said, "We are delighted to invite Domenico and Stefano to spread their special magic in our lobby once again. Our guests and staff loved their tree so much last year, and they have created something equally memorable and enchanting this time.
"Both Claridge's and Dolce & Gabbana are synonymous with timeless glamour, innovative spirit and traditional family values that are so important during Christmas," Kochs added.
Have you got your tree design in mind this year? Maybe it's time for something a bit different...
