The rumour mill has gone into frenzy over the sex of Kate Middleton's baby now that she's half-way through her pregnancy. The latest line of gossip? She's set to welcome a baby girl.
One news site is reporting that Kate's sister Pippa Middleton put her party-planning prowess to good use - and threw Kate a pink-themed baby shower. Really?
According to Hollywood Life, a source told Star Magazine: "There were pink-iced cupcakes, pink cocktails, and a huge white cake."
Think super-girly cake, think "pink sponge and strawberry filling".
Of course, there's no official confirmation that this event actually took place, but the thought of a little sister for Prince George is adorable and we want it to happen. Just imagine the beautiful jewellery and clothes she'll be able to borrow from mum. Sigh.
Can we also talk about potential baby girl names? We highly doubt they'll be following the fad for out-there celeb baby names (Princess Tiaamii, anyone?) so it's more likely they'll opt for a traditional name like Princess Elizabeth of Princess Victoria.
Meanwhile, Kate and her bump will be joining Prince William on a trip to New York from 7 to 10 December where the couple will attend a swanky fundraising dinner at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
They'll also attend a series of other engagements, including the 600th anniversary dinner of the University of St Andrews, where they first met as students, and an NBA basketball game.
According to the Daily Telegraph, as part of the trip, between December 7 and 9, the Duke will travel to Washington DC for a World Bank conference on the illegal transportation of wildlife parts, while the Duchess stays in New York. Think of the outfits she's got lined up.
