From Hollywood actresses and television presenters to supermodels and singers, it's been a busy year for celebrity weddings.
Back in May, it looked like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had the 'wedding of the year' title in the bag when they tied the knot in Florence, but that was before Angelina Jolie wed her partner of nine years Brad Pitt on 23 August.
Jolie made fans everywhere gasp when the first pictures from the couple's private South of France ceremony emerged online. Her dress, designed by longtime pal Donatella Versace, featured a gathered bust, elongated train and embroidered drawings of her children's artwork.
She looked stunning - but attention soon turned to another beautiful bride a month later when British lawyer Amal Alamuddin married George Clooney in September.
The couple said "I do" in an intimate but star-studded ceremony at the Aman Canal Grande resort in Venice - and pictures of Amals' Oscar de la Renta wedding dress followed days later when the couple appeared on the covers of Hello! and People magazines.
There were plenty of nuptials closer to home, too. Poppy Delevingne married James Cook in London, Frankie Sandford became Mrs Bridge when she married footballer Wayne in Bedfordshire and Fearne Cotton wed her musician boyfriend Jesse Wood in Richmond.
