Ashton Kutcher will take to the stand to testify against a man who, in 2001, allegedly murdered Ashley Ellerin, who was dating the actor at the time.
Michael Thomas Gargiulo stands accused of murdering three women, reports Radar Onlineand, ahead of the trial, documents detailing Ashley’s murder have been acquired by The National Enquirer.

On 21 February 2001, Ashley was attacked when she was in the shower, and Ashton was living just 400ft away at the time.
MailOnline states that Ashton called Ashley twice on the night she was murdered, and later went to her Hollywood home to see if she was there. When he received no answer at the bungalow, he left.
Now, Ashton is believed to be preparing to give evidence in the forthcoming trial.
In recent months, the actor has been out of the limelight, spending time with partner Mila Kunis and their new baby girl Wyatt.
The couple sparked rumours that they may have secretly married when Mila was spotted wearing a wedding band-like ring in December.
