This is the moment a machete-wielding robbery suspect is tackled by a passer-by after raid on a London jewelry store.
The raid on Carr diamond and watch jewelers in Liverpool Street, saw the store’s front windows smashed in with sledgehammers.
Footage of the attack shows one balaclava-clad man march out of the shop and board a moped as another loiters almost casually on the pavement.

A second suspect leaves the shop swinging a sledgehammer, also mounting a moped.
As the first man drives off, the second attempts to leap on the back of the vehicle, but is cut off as a car swerves towards him.
At this point a smartly-dressed man in a blue suit rushes towards the suspect, leaping upon his back.
The suspect stumbles, then draws a machete out of his person, brandishing at the man before dashing away.
A police officer at the scene was also threatened with a machete when he confronted the group, City of London police say.
Officers followed the suspects to a car park in Gravel Lane where one of the men was arrested.
A machete and a sledgehammer hammer have been recovered and the hunt is ongoing for the remaining two suspects.
