Shakira and her partner Gerard Pique are celebrating the birth of their second son together.
The singer reportedly gave birth at around 11pm on Thursday night at the Quiron Teknon Hospital in Barcelona, where she gave birth to her first son Milan two years ago.
Shakira has lived with her long-term love Gerard in Barcelona for the last few years, as he plays for Barcelona FC.
According to the Mirror, Gerard's fellow footballer Lionel Messi was among the first to congratulate the couple, writing on Twitter, "Congratulations @shakira and @3gerardpique on the birth of your son..."
Shakira described her new baby as a "true gift" and recently said she would love to have a girl, too.
According to Hello! magazine, she said, "I'd like to have a girl one day, but we'll see, because you never know what's going to happen. At the moment I'm happy because I love boys too."
And it sounds like the children are going to be multi-lingual, with Shakira being keen on teaching them different languages from a young age.
She added: "Any child can learn languages before they're three, we expose Milan to Spanish, Catalan, English, French, German, Russian and Chinese.
"Kids are able to comprehend more than we think, it's never too early to start teaching and exposing them to books even as newborns."
Big congrats to the second-time parents.
