Jealousy. We all get it. And anyone who claims otherwise is most definitely telling a porkie pie.

But there's nothing to be ashamed of. Studies have shown that humans are hardwired to feel pangs of jealousy. And it can make us act in peculiar ways (cue: crying, arguing or even fighting).

Most of the time jealousy is linked to romantic relationships and is linked to suspicion, mistrust, anxiety, envy and protectiveness.

But what exactly causes it? And do men and women experience it in the same way?
